Mt. Rigi Royal Tour with a visit in a distillery
An eventful train ride through beautiful mountain landscape takes you to the top of Mt. Rigi (6'000 ft). From the summit, you will enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the famous Alps, 13 lakes and over the Swiss Midlands as far as France and Germany. Then, you will be served a delicious 3-course meal with a local dessert. After the ride in the cogwheel-train back to Goldau you board the local bus or take a walk of approx. 20 minutes to the famous distillery S. Fassbind. On a guided tour (duration 1 1/2 hours) you will learn about the secrets of traditional fruit and cherry distillery. Of course, you will get the chance to taste various fine brandies and liquours.
