Welcome to Mt. Rigi - the sun terrace above lovely Lake Lucerne. With unique views over the snow capped Alps, wonderful walks and superb sledge runs.

Winter-Wonderland of adventures

Welcome to the haven of sun above the gigantic sea of fog. You will be overwhelmed by a fantastic panoramic view ot the Alps.

There's a new wintersports rental centre at the top station of Mt. Rigi.

Here you can rent toboggans, airboards including protective equipment (helmet, knee protection), snow shoes and Nordic Walking sticks.

Swiss Snowsport School Rigi

Skiing has a long tradition on Mount Rigi. It was Rosa Dahinden-Pfyl, known as the Snowrose, who in 1906 initiated the first ski courses on Mt. Rigi and persuaded the Vitznau Rigi Railway to operate in winter. The Rigi therefore ranks as one of the pioneers of winter sport.

Tobogganing and skiing at night

On Friday nights, the toboggan run from Rigi Kulm to Staffel and the toboggan run and ski slopes at Gratalp (Rigi Kaltbad) are romantically illuminated. Have fun and enjoy�wintersports activities in a charming winterland of snow and beautiful mountain views.�
