Nestling in the eastern slopes of Mount Rigi, halfway up to Kulm, lies the hamlet of Rigi Klösterli, a historic place of pilgrimage once home to many Capuchin monks. Not far from the roaring Rigi Aa, surrounded by the typical grottos and caves, the “Kapelle Maria zum Schnee” (Chapel of St. Mary of the Snows) was built here over 300 years ago.
