Then hop on the cogwheel railway from Rigi Kaltbad to Vitznau and travel back to Gersau by boat or bus – a fabulous circular tour for families, walking enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates a good view.
You can begin the Mount Rigi South Side Safari at any point along the route, whether you're in Vitznau, Gersau or already on Mount Rigi. Notice: The Mini-Bus only runs saturdays, sundays and on public holidays from 30th of May until 13th of October 2019.
The Mount Rigi South Side Safari can be booked at the weekends from 30th of May to 13th of October 2019. The minibus only runs during these times. However, Rigi Scheidegg and Rigi Burggeist can be accessed at any time.
Between the villages Vitznau and Gersau there is either running a public bus or the boat.
