As part of the 150th anniversary of the Arth-Rigi Railway, winter steam trips from Goldau to Rigi Kulm take place in December.
Locomotives and carriages from the early years have been lovingly and expertly restored. The gleaming metal, the smell of the coal fire, the hissing of the steam, spraying sparks and the smooth operation of the powerful mechanics cast a spell over steam train passengers.
