Welcome to the Hinterbergen restaurant, high up above Vitznau at an altitude of 1100 m on the south-facing slope of Mt. Rigi.
The restaurant was built in 1968 by Anna and Anton Küttel-Camenzind. The family business was taken over by the present owners in 1989. There is a playground for children and a nappy-changing table for our smallest visitors in the toilet lobby area.
For visitors who want to feel great and simply enjoy nature and this idyllic place high above Lake Lucerne for a while, over some good food and drink, the Hinterbergen mountain restaurant is just the place.
Guests are well looked after here, whether they sample the typical Swiss fare out on the sunshine terrace or in the restaurant.
