Mount Rigi is car-free. The journey to Rigi Kaltbad is only possible by cogwheel train from Vitznau or by cable car from Weggis.

Good to know:
- Max. 10 passengers (12 passengers with children)
- Dogs are welcome, but please note the maximum number of passengers. With 11 passengers there is no more space for a dog.
- Evening trips from 16.00 (winter) and 18.00 (summer) only on request, at least 2 hours in advance and subject to a surcharge of CHF 50.00 per trip.
- Waiting time will be charged
- Warm blankets are available in the carriage (winter)
- Cash payment and Twint, no credit card accepted
